This hiding box is well done and my chinchillas like it. It's made of chewable pine wood and it doesn't contain any nails. The chinchillas tend not to chew on it for some reason, but that's fine as it will last longer. I would have liked it to be a little taller and bigger. It can fit two grown chinchillas, but any more and they might not be comfortable. The bottom board is also not necessary since they can just sit on the cage floor. Although it is well made, it is also just really 4 pine boards. If you're handy, you can make this yourself and save some money. If you're not handy, this is one of the better hiding houses. I recommend getting at least the "Double" size even if you have one chinchilla.

We do have two chinchillas and they are just perfect for the our three little guys. The older one just tried biting it and and wow he's unstoppable. They really likes them.
